COMPETITIVE EXAMS ON WOMEN LAWS

As per the directives of National Commission for Women, a nationwide competition for college/university students on laws related to Women, was held on 8th Dec 2018 (Saturday) in the Mini auditorium, III floor, NDCH, between 12.30 to 1.45 pm. A total of 93 UG & PG students and interns, both boys & girls, took part in this competition, which was a very good response. This was conducted by the “SHE committee” of NDCH. All the members Dr.Swapna, Dr.Lavanya, Dr.Swetha, Dr.Rajashri and Dr.Saroja including the chairperson, Dr.Vandana Raghunath, played important roles in the organization of this event and ensured efficient conduct of the exam. The question paper for the competition set by the SHE Committee members, comprised of 75 multiple choice questions / questions with multiple options (MCQ) on topics related to Constitutional and Legal rights/entitlements of women and other important laws. The exam went on very smoothly and was a great success. The answer papers will be evaluated shortly and three highest scored students will be awarded prizes.
