ORAL HYGIENE DAY CELEBRATIONS-REPORT - 1St Aug 2021
Oral Hygiene Day is celebrated all over India on 1st August to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr.G.B Shankwalkar, the doyen of Periodontology and founder of the Indian Society of Periodontology. As a part of Oral Hygiene Day celebrations, the DEPARTMENT OF PERIODONTOLOGY, NARAYANA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, NELLORE had organized ‘ORAL HYGIENE AWARENESS PROGRAM’ on 26th JULY to 1st AUGUST, 2021, with the Theme ”DON’T RUSH WHEN YOU BRUSH”
- This Day was observed by conducting various oral hygiene education programs to bring about an awareness of importance of oral hygiene maintenance among the patients and students.
- Various activities were organized for the Students and Post Graduates to enhance their perception and enrich their understanding of the subject.
- The reception area of the Department of Periodontology was decorated aptly for the occasion by the post graduate students, various discussions about the significance and importance with a brief history about the Oral Hygiene Day was explained to the PG students & Students by the Department Faculty.
