Endo Insight

Endo Insight, a refreshing program for Interns and Post Graduates was conducted by Dept of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Narayana Dental College and Hospital on 8th October 2018. Program started at 10am by introductory speech by Dr.Lavanya Dept Head, followed by Dr.Divya stressing the importance of case selection and then Dr.Koumadi presented on assessing the level of difficulty of a case. Before the Tea Break Dr.suneel kumar chinni has asked the audience to download Edmodo App from play store and ios stores, to share a document regarding difficulty assessment. After the tea break, program started with the presentation of Crown to Root Treatment protocol by Dr.Swapna and then cleaning and shaping rotary endodontics presentation by Dr.Kiranmayi.

Mr.Manoj South India sales Manager of Mani gave a short presentation on Mani Company. At the end concluding speech was given by Dr.suneel kumar chinni. After the concluding speech participants went for lunch break. In the afternoon session, participants who enrolled for hands on course assembled in the PCC lab. A hand on demonstration was given by Dr Lavanya with rotary Mani silk rotary system and the participants were also shown the advanced diagnostic instruments like magnification loupes. Apex locator was also explained. Later all the participants worked on the resin blocks using rotary Mani files with Endo motors. They were also guided to obturate the canal with the greater taper GP cones. The program was supervised by all the faculty members of the department. The program concluded at 4.00pm
