World Oral Health Day Celebrations : Report

World Oral Health Day Celebrations conducted on March 20th 2017 by Narayana Dental College, Nellore in collaboration with Indian Dental Association, Nellore Branch. Rally was conducted with 150 Dental Students & 20 Dental Doctors, which started from VRC Center, Nellore at 8:30a.m. upto Nartaki Center, Nellore. This was followed by Press address given by Dr.Chandrasekhar Reddy Professor & Head, Dept. of Public Health Dentistry & Dr.N.Kannan, Professor & Head, Dept. of Oral Medicine & Radiology & Hon. General Secretary, I.D.A., Nellore Branch. Free Oral Health Screening for patients was conducted by Dr.Chandrasekhar Reddy Professor & Head, Dept. of Public Health Dentistry & his team of P.G.s & Interns at Mahaveer Hospital, Jhanda Veedhi which was attended by several patients. Oral Health Talk & Oral Health Screening program was conducted by Narayana Dental College, Nellore in collaboration with Indian Dental Association, Nellore Branch at Durgabai Mahila Pranganam, situated at Gandhinagar for about 60 Anganwadi Workers & 20 Primary School Teachers with Mahila Corporation Director Mrs.Malli Nirmala as the chief guest, Director N.G.O.s Shri E.V.S.Nayudu & Principal ACTW Mrs. Bhagyalakshmi as Guests of Honour with Live interactions for clearing doubts regarding oral health.
