6th NATIONAL P.G CONVENTION of INDIAN SOCIETY OF PEDODONTICS AND PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY was held at NARAYANA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL which was attended by 400 delegates across INDIA on 3rd and 4th of JULY 2009 organized by DEPARTMENT OF PEDODONTICS was a grand success.
It laid emphasis on Trauma and Behavior Management deliberated by stalwarts in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry.

2. The Society of Prosthodontics and Implants Continuing Education (SIPCE) an Orgainisation of Dept of Prosthodontics Narayana Dental College has organised “Hands on CDE Work Shop” on “CAST PARTIALS MADE EASY” for all PG students in AP on 18th & 19th September’09 in Narayana Dental College, Nellore. Dr. B. Ramakrishna, Principal Narayana Medical College inaugurated the event. Dr. M. Shivashankar , MDS, MD, Confident Dental Lab, Bangalore, along with his team have conducted the course. It was well appreciated by all faculty & students from different colleges
3. Dr.Vijay Kumar Chava, MDS, Prof & HOD of Periodontics is appointed by Ministry of Health & Familly Welfare for conducting a surveY on Sterilization Protocol in Private Dental Clinics in South India.
4. Narayana Dental College celebrated the graduction day & college day together on 23rd Oct in the Main Auditorium. Dr. Rahul Hegde, EC Member, DCI was the Chief Guest. It was presided over by our respected Chairman Dr.P.Narayana Sir.
